Miners Association opposes FG ban

 The Nigerian Miners' Association, Niger State Chapter, has called for a review of the federal government's ban on mining activities and motorcycles.  The association's president, Alhaji Mohammed Mambo, said at a press conference in Minna that the ban would worsen the unemployment rate  among young and female gangs in the country's mining industry.  He said thousands of young Nigerians and women are benefiting from the mining sector and motorcycle  business as they lack alternatives to earn a living.
