Russia not intimidated by US military build-up in Europe, Deputy Secretary of State says,


 Russia on Wednesday said  it will not be intimidated by US military build-up in Europe since tensions are rising due to Moscow's military intervention in Ukraine. Solutions are in the illusion that they can intimidate Russia, somehow contain it, they will not succeed," Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters. 


“The security of the countries where additional quotas will appear will not be strengthened.The prospect of stabilization will be a long way off. The risks will increase,” he added. "We have the skills and the resources," Ryabkov added, threatening retaliation. “What is happening now will certainly lead to compensatory measures on our part. on Wednesday to invite Finland and Sweden to join after Turkey withdrew its objections as the alliance tried to overhaul its defenses at a summit dominated by Moscow's intervention in Ukraine.
